Our vision is not only to reach out to the needs of the local community, but to support evangelism across our city, nation, continent, and to the nations of the world. As a result, SCC supports Christian missionaries and missionary organisations across the globe. |

Fan the Flame: Evangelist Jan Slawinski was born in Birmingham in 1963. He became a Christian in 1994, and after 2 months of God turning his life around, the Lord spoke to him challenging him to "Preach My gospel". Obeying the call, he started to preach and moved to Sheldon Community Church in 1996, where he and his family now worship. Jan and his wife Sandra have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. Jan is now preaching the gospel with power, and as the years have gone by, God has been using him more and more. Jan has a heart for the lost, and back in 1996, God gave him a promise that he would see 1 million people commit their lives to Jesus. God is now calling him out of the UK and the summer of 2006 will see Jan heading to Africa to preach, with other international evangelistic trips to follow. Itenary:
